They have admitted thery were wrong and are apparently sending my voucher to me. I will not hold my breath.

Not so bad though as I did womble 2 vouchers yesterday! We always buy our diesel at Tesco's and with an 80 litre tank it is definately worth it,

I did not receive my voucher. I emailed customer services who replied that the offer was instore only!

I have had to email them again quoting their website

If it wasn't for the fantastic points offers I would definately shop elsewhere!

Went to Tesco's, got 4 bottles of half price champagne, 2 bottles of half price wine, got an extra 30% off and came away with a 5p off petrol shopping (not to mention a couple of bogofs). Successful evening shop!

yeah, online deliveries are coming with the 5p off petrol compon stapled to delivery note. Also, watch your emails -some are getting vouchers by email for £15 off a £50 spend. better than the usual £100 or so spend to generate a discount. Keep an eye on those closing dates though. I got stung this week. What is wombling in Tesco's? Does anyone know. I've only just completed my first online shop with them and rarely visit their stores (too far). I apologise for the naff thicko question but, would appreciate you being gentle with me and explaining. ta

Great! Way to go. Moneysaving at it's best.

I'm probably sounding grumpier than i am, but this site just seems to spend more money efficiently (i.e. lots more useless tat/things for the same money), rather than actually not wasting cash. Supermarkets arent stupid, they don't give money away.

I wonder how many extra £50 shops for £4 discount (on another £40 spend) they've had? Lots.

If you do it as part of your planned spend and don't get suckered into "bargains", then fair dos, but anyone going out of there way to qualify, think about it. You're doing exactly what Mr Tesco wants. You may as well have strings.

Oh, and supermarket petrols crap. And not even cheaper most of the time.

Martins said before this primarily a get things cheaper site, not a frugal site, so guess that's my answer. MoneyNotSpendingExpert.com here I come!! ;)

    Made me chuckle, thanks.

I have to agree, but it does have a hypnotic draw....

One of the supermarkets should make a stand. Be sincerley green, honest, fair trade and local products sustainable etc etc and they'd make a (deserved) kllling.

Small shops and businesses do thankfully seem to be having a mini bounce back, but millions of people have been raised on the supermarket habit/convienience.

Fan-blinking-tastic. Still got some H/B coupons left and used em for bogof toiletries, my old Springer Spaniel's cod liver oil tablets (bogof), all with a £6-off-£40 till spit and stocked up on half price (plus 30% off) wine too. A normal RRP of just over £110 came in at £47 and got 5p off a litre to boot. You gotta love Mr. T.
