I won some tickets to a show last night, sat in my seat next to this lady who proceeded to announce she 'won' her tickets. I said 'me too, through Anglia Co-op' I said 'Are you a comper?' she replied 'yes' I got all excited and asked are you with MSE??? she said NO I do it by myself! and looked at me like Im in a cult lol

LOL I used to have MSE after my name on Facebook and once a company (whom I'd just won a prize with) asked me if it was short for Mumsy!:)

Another funny (or should I say scary!) story which is non comping related but mine also involves sitting next to a stranger just this morning.... Anyway, this little old lady sat down beside me on the bus to Sainsburys and immediately started going on about the floods and how it was God punishing mankind for destroying the ozone layer! I heard everything from how it might start raining frogs and locusts to how God appears at her side during the night and tells her how he is saddened that many schools no longer do nativities! She said he was angry but promised not to do another complete flood where all but 2 of each species would DIE! Seriously for 25 minutes I must have been quoted the Bible at least 20 times and I got off the bus at Sainsburys feeling traumatised AND I forgot half of what I needed because I was convinced I had been cursed! I'm so glad to be home in one peace! I cannot believe I sat through it all speechless EEK!

LOL Haven't a clue who it was - just some little old lady but not the cuddly granny type who knits booties for the grandkids!!! Looking back it still makes me feel uneasy - she was like some one you would watch in an Exorcist movie! She kept saying that we should watch out because even though God promised not to cause another flood, he could make it rain something terrible like he did when he caused it to rain frogs and locusts! I just sat in silence - totally Gob smacked!
