OP the honest answer is that we do not have a clue.
I might say no you will not get it, the next poster will disagree etc.
The only way is to apply - please let us know how you get on.0 -

Why does it matter then? Apply, and if you're accepted you're accepted.
Most student overdrafts are 0%
It would daft to pay it off with savings.0 -
Admittedly, my ex has a MacBook Pro and an iMac...but he's a sound engineer and prefers Apple stuff for work.
He also bought the MacBook second-hand, and saved up hard to buy both outright. Best way to do it.

Is the Apple Loan interest free?
If your overdraft's interest free, could you not increase this and borrow on it (I see from one of your previous posts that they didn't increase it) - but now you've had your salary been paid in over the summer months, are they more willing too?
This said, I too would recommend that you look at a High Spec Window's PC, which are around half the price of Apple, but it's your money - should spend it how you want.Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!0 -
I bought an iMac in 2010 on HP over 2 years.
The APR was fixed at 14.9% percent and I was surprised I was accepted as I've still got some "Arrangements to Pay" on my credit file from 2008 (next September cannot come soon enough!)
I'm not encouraging you to get into debt over a computer BUT if you feel you can afford the repayments etc then go ahead and apply? It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

If the OP was able to commit £X (anything of £449) then Apple are currently offering 10 months interest free.... So if the OP's overdraft isn't interest free and they can afford £X per month and clear it in 10 month's time? It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Lesson to learn once you get the Macbook Pro - don't talk about it, don't show it off and don't even get involved in discussions around computers.
Why? You will be talked to like you have a 2nd head and you will be accused of being attracted to shiny things. Also expect comments about paying too much for it and that you can get better for less etc..
Have you used the student store or looked to see if you get a discount on NUS card?
If anyone else asks, You use a windows machine running Windows 9 super duper edition, which runs at 15ghz with a 20 tb solid state hard drive and comes with a nice plastic 43 inch widescreen display.
It was very MSE in that it only cost you £399.
Just between the 2 of us though - enjoy your mac if you can afford it and hope it brings you what you want from it as a computer.0 -
You get student discount if you order using a computer on your school network0
