    more than half the price in some cases, my email said!
  • my guess is that they brought in loads of summer stock which after June isn't selling (but will try not to be too happy at a store making billions a year having a bad season :))

    hope they have some reduced trousers as i could do with a couple of pairs

    excellent the spend £50 get 5p per litre off petrol strats tomorrow so could spend £50 on clothes and get the petrol coupon!

    Popped to my local tesco today hoping for some bargain clothes for my DD,
    but what a let down !!

    All sale clothing (which there wasn't much of) was crappy, the only plus side was I got my 5p off a litre of petrol voucher.

    We went into our local Tesco Home Plus to find no signs up at all about the sale - we questioned the SA who said they hadn't had time to put the posters or to mark the clothing yet, and suggested we use the self scanners to check prices!!!!
    Looks like this store is so poorly run that it decides when sales start and not head office :confused:

    Just got off the phone to customer services, who after contacting the store, came back to me to state the clothing sale doesn't start instore till Wednesday!
