I'm up for trying £2014 in 2014 - be interesting to work out how much I win - had a break for about 8 months in 2013 so maybe be able to win a bit more if I try and enter throughout the year.

Think the A - Z could be quite fun too - how creative are people in naming their wins to get all of the letters - e.g. would you name each book or just write 'books' ?
Life is too short to let people get you down :j
  • I started comping in a October and had no wins until December when I had 3 wins on the Stella comp and a leather handbag from an advent so pretty pleased with that.
So I'm going to be ambitious and go for the £2014 in 2014 and the A-Z challenge. Some Xmas presents would also be good as I never have any money left for the January sales.
    Good luck to everyone

I'm back on the comping wagon after a fair few months away (2 jobs kills any spare time). I've only won a couple of times, one of which was a competition separate from MSE, so this year I'm planning on plugging away until I'm averaging several hundred comps a week!

More importantly, I'm hoping to do a postgrad in acting (I know, I know), so money-based comps will be another priority for me to help with funding etc! Feeling pretty excited about the New Year  I'd also like to win some house items for my ma as she's struggling a bit recently too!

I've made a New Years resolution to get back on it with a vengeance lol!

May also try the Alphabet challenge for kicks and giggles too

    Good luck everybody!

Having given it some thought, I don't wanna set myself up for a fall - so I think £2014 is a reasonable amount to aim for, given that last year I think I reached around £1500 worth. Fingers crossed!

My challenge to myself is not related to prizes, but to the way I comp. I am setting myself the challenge of changing from end date comping to latest post comping. I have made a start by working from oldest posted comps as well as doing those ending soon, but I still have loaddsd of pages to get through and then see if I can keep on top of it.

I might try for the £2014 in 2014 as well. I have never totted up before the value of my prizes, so I don't know if I have any hope of making it or not.

    Good luck everyone.

I tried to do that in November and then advents happened!!
Thanks to all OPs and everyone who helps/posts etc!!:T
