2014 Comping Challenges

Options
Are people interested in doing any challenges for 2014? I like the idea of setting goals. In 2013 we had the "Win £2013 worth of prizes", "A-Z of prizes" and "Win 20 prizes worth more than £13." Think there was a "Win a prize for each family member" one too.

What type of challenges would people suggest for 2014?

I liked the £2013 of prizes one so could do £2014 of prizes.

Any suggestions? :)

  • How about one "Win a prize for each room in the house" like kitchen stuff, living room, dining room, bathroom, bedroom :D
I like the idea of £2014 in 2014. I'll be doing the challenges this year after my mild retreat over summer :rotfl:
Back to comping after a 3-year hiatus :j

How about a big-ish win for each of the important people in your life's birthdays/anniversaries? (Maybe over £150 in value)

    Eg...

    OH - Feb
    Parent - March
    OH Parent - March
    Anniversary - April
Close friends - April, April, April, July, August.
    BF - October
    Grandparent - November

and a luxury holiday for moi to Las Vegas, Hawaii or the Maldives! :rotfl: (not asking for much!)
  • I will be doing the 'win £2014 in 2014' even though I didn't quite make my £2013 this year! but first I'll aim to beat this years total! :)
I don't have many rooms in my small flat so I think "Win a prize for each room in the house" might be a little too easy for me (unless I have a really bad year - hope not!).
I'll also try to win Xmas/birthday pressies. :)
    :D January 2016: :) Seed Pantry Grow Pod :)
  • Due to my excessive spending this Christmas! I've decided my challenge next year is going to be 'win Christmas 2014' so all my presents and hopefully food/alcohol. Should make Christmas a little easier next year

I decided to try and win Christmas 2013....except I left it until December to take on that challenge! :rotfl::rotfl:Needless to say I didn't get very far with it! :rotfl:
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j
  • Even though I have been on this forum for over a year I never participated in the challenges. New Years resolution is to do them for 2014!

Id like to win anything, I do enter now and then, have maybe entered about 50 over the last few months, won nothing, but will keep going, oddly enough Ive been lucky offline in the past few years, won my season ticket one year, everythings been football club related, but no wins from here as yet

£10 would make me happy, seriously.

Am willing to try the win £2014 in 2014.
    That could be interesting.
Would do birthdays, but I have 2 in Jan, then one in June and last one in Oct.
Don't think I will make the 2 Jan ones as comps are a bit slow usually early in the year. But good chance for June and Oct.

If I don't even beat this years total I shall quit comping for a year though. This years total not even £100. :D
    63 mortgage payments to go.

    Zero wins 2016 😥

My task last year via mse was to reduce the cost of the weekly shop - which took a lot of precedence over my comping hobby. This year - inspired by others above, I hope to win Christmas 2014

At least for relatives, so I can spend more of my own money on my own children. x

Good luck all for 2014 :)
    Wishing you all good luck!
