Newbie Question About Online Surveys.

Options
Hello all! I'm new to this forum and I have a question about online surveys. Basically, I'm trying to decide if they're worth taking. I want to increase my monthly income by approximately £50 per month. However, I know that many surveys are very low paying. My question is: If I sign up to, say, 50 free survey sites and spend one hour per evening filling in surveys (plus 2 hours on Saturdays and Sundays, so 9 or perhaps 10 hours a week) Would I come anywhere close to achieving my target within, say, six months?

I know that this depends on numerous factors. For instance, I'm aware that very occasionally I might get lucky and be sent a very high paying survey, while at other times I might just get very low paying surveys, or none at all. What I am asking is, in your experience, is £50 per month a reasonable target given the amount of work I am prepared to put in? If not, how much time should I be putting in per week and how many survey sites should I sign up for to reach my £50 per month target? I'm just trying to decide if it's all worth it. Thanks.

P.S. - I'm aware that it will take a while and lots of diligent survey taking before I am sent enough surveys to come close to achieving an extra £50 a month in additional income. My question is, 'Is £50 pounds a month a reasonable target after six months, not right off the bat'. Cheers.

Thirty to Fifty pound is a reasonable target per month based on what you have outlined. I would suggest you focus on smaller amount of survey sites as managing 50 sites will mean you will be inundated with emails and you will struggle to keep it going. If you search this board you will see threads with suggestions on what survey sites to join. I would suggest setting up a separate email account for survey invites to go to as you will get lots once you get going

    Good luck
  • That's a completely reasonable target. I am registered with about the same number of sites and get a LOT of survey invitations every day. Realistically you are going to screen out of about 75% of those surveys or they shut before you get to do them. I also find weekends to be quieter so that would be a good opportunity to catch up on what you didn't get to do in the week as well.

Look at a site called I love Freebies UK (Search Google) They have a massive list of sites including a short review of each one. I must of earned over £1000 this year just from surveys.

£50 a month is easily achievable, but I would suggest you stick to just a few reputable websites. Examples of websites where you can take surveys including My Survey, OpinionWorld, Swagbucks, Clixsense, Neobux, Focusline Surveys and OnePoll. Just ensure you do not pay to join and you only join reputable websites, we are always happy to offer help and advice on the legitimacy of a website and their payment terms etc.
