Mortgage deal ending, what to do?

Hi

My current mortgage deal (fixed rate) ends on the 30th of June, it will then go to a standard variable rate.

Thing is me and O.H are looking to buy a house together (after 10 years!), his house in on the market and mine will be up in a few weeks.

So I don't want to be tied in to another mortgage, when, if all goes well we will be getting a new mortgage together soon.

Shall I just let it go to the standard variable?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Mish x

Depends on how long you think you will be on SVR. If it's only going to be a few months, then I would be tempted to go onto SVR and when you come to move, have your pick of the market then.
