40th Birthday Buffet

Hi all,

We are having a 40th Birthday party in the early part of next year and I am looking for some cheap posh looking party food ideas.

We will probably do the usual standard buffet fayre but I am also looking for things to make from say a can of crab meat, a chicken breast i.e see how far I can stretch it so we will have lots of food for not lots of money

also, pudding ideas would also be most helpful.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.
