This week my challenge went on hold. Unfortunately our landlord has given us 3 month notice to move out as he's retiring and selling the house. We have no chance of getting a mortgage so are having to move out.0

cally6008, good luck with finding a new place to live.
Can I join this challenge? I am hoping it will inspire me to start selling unwanted items at home. The last item I sold was 2 years ago. During the Easter break I will start selling our CD's and DVD's that OH has finally said it is ok to sell.
So far this year, I have not made a lot of extra money. I found a £5 note on the floor in the bank and have a couple of tenners in my rainy day pot.No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
Can I join too please? Need to start saving!!0

A bit late but can I join in too? We are moving shortly (eek) and I want to make the new place a real home with our own touch on the decoration, so that'll be the aim. I'm not going to include work overtime as that goes in a seperate 'saving stash' anyway, it's my security blanket so I'm not spending that on paint!
This thread has inspired me to get organised so I just found my old Nectar log in. £13.19 in points so that's a start!;)0 -
Posting here before I forget. Been clearing stuff out over the past few weeks and advertised them at work, sold a few DVD boxsets and books for a grand total of £36!0

Cally6008, thank you for taking the time to post all that information in your first post. I am going to look at some of the websites later. Is it too late to join the challenge?
I think I will make eBay my friend, we have recently moved house and there is a post office about 40 seconds walk away0 -
Sorry, just another post with a question.
When signing up with these websites, do you need to provide your email details that are linked to your paypal account? or can you add another email address and then just tell them at a later date what email address you would like the payment sent to?
Just worried about loads of emails flooding into my main email account.
Thanks0 -
I always use the same email account for everything, but I do have to delete a fair amount of junk.
Added £15.38 from matched betting this week. Siggy is updated.2022. 2% MF challenge. £730/30000
