What a great win, Foxy! Although I'd probably end up going there every day ;)

    This week:
    Babysitting £50
    Book trade-ins £33.14
    Fleabay profit £19.54

    Total £102.68

I can't believe the prices of fleabay now and got a shock when I checked the fees and saw that there's now a fee on postage?! I also got all my postage figures wrong and had to convert a few to second class - really annoyed as I weighed and measured everything and checked the post office site :o Hope my buyers are okay about it all. It was such a lot of work for £3.25 per item, I'll be gutted if anybody needs refunding for anything. Thank heavens this is just a clearout and not a regular thing. I'm not made to be a power seller!

Plans for this week: babysitting, more trade-ins and surveys

  • Been a little slow this month but went to boots today. Bought 2 sanctuary products and got 10.50 gift set free then usedxa voucher for 500 points if I spent 10. Soooo then used my advantage card and got 2 more sanctuary products plus another 10.50 gift set all for free so saved 45pound woohoo. Mothers day sorted:)

    1. £20 refund from insurance company due to them making an administration error.

    2. £14 from a survey reward site.

    3. £50 from selling my old bike that has literally been lying up in the shed rusting for at least 15 years.

    4. £25 payment due to an error with my bank account.

    5. £50 payment due to a refund being held from me for over one year.

    Total thus far - £159.

I'm now up to £23.25 on reward sites and I'm hoping to sell a few bits and bobs over the weekend.

Total thus far £168.25, I need to get to around £200 by the end of February.

    Hi LuckPenny,

My insurance company did not input the correct registration number for my new vehicle and despite numerous attempts they failed to update the risk address on my file to the correct spelling.

In relation to the rates (council tax) for my house, the government company took payment twice and refused to refund the overpayment, they decided instead to offset this against the following year's bill. I've been told £50 is a poor settlement for this error.
