Tigger onesie walked past me as I was loading the car up last night -I thought I was seeing things.

I'm a hot body and I think I'd die of heat stroke in one ....and like others remember what a pain jumpsuits were going to the loo. Plus plain stretchy PJs are cosy and if I do need to nip to the corner shop I can just add boots and coat and look dressed.

I'm a couple of years older than the OP and about 4 sizes smaller.... and I like the idea of a onesie, but I don't think they're as practical as we'd like. e.g. I bet the feet get mucky quick, so it'd need washing more than desired; I bet they're a pig when you want to go for a wee. I can think of other issues re comfort that'd make it a "no thanks" for me.
  • The feet don't get mucky some don't have feet on mine doesn't anyway.
I'm in my 30s said I would never wear one but was given one for xmas so had to glad I did can't live without it have to get some more.Have raynauds so always feel cold this onesie has a hood so keeps me warm all over.

I would only consider and only after a great deal of thought would I wear one for a bet. They are just too impractical and look silly IMO.

Amazon had one on sale on their boxing day offers and I lmao when I saw it. Never, never, never. Not even as a gift! I have far more practical and comfortable clothes to wear. A onesie just would not be warm enough in my home. I have to wear coats AND body warmers at the same time!
  • I am 48 and I love my onsies, I have 3 of them. I always wear my pj's underneath so I do not freeze when going for a tiddle.

I think they are brilliant and I often put mine on when I come home from work if I am not going any where. Saying that if I pick my 18 year old daughter up late at night or early in he morning I will wear it in the car as it keeps me warm especially this weather!

I'm 28 a size 20-22 and have 3 onesies. None of mine have feet as I don't like my feet getting too warm:o

Bought them from Asda in the summer for £6 each 2 of these and one in another colour

Everyone in my family laughed at me when I wore it to a fancy dress party, but I don't give a hoot what anyone else thinks about what I wear. As long as I'm happy in it, as long as I'm comfortable and warm anyone else can think what they like! I don't give a damn.
I do wear a vest top underneath though for when I do need the loo lol.
Wouldn't wear it outside though as I'm not part of the Pyjama brigade, and have no intention of becoming a member, but if I've to run down to the bin or into my mums next door I throw a jumper or coat over me.
