  • CHRISSY we didn't know that about the gaviscon, will remember that in future thank you!

freespirit it was his physio that told him to take the ibuprofen, the doctor gave him some other medication yesterday to help his stomach. We didn't know ibuprofen could cause all of this damage, will certainly remember this in future! It sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday - definitely better than cleaning! Your poor dd, I do hope all of these things clear up soon so she can just enjoy being a mum now. Wiggle and I aren't much better yet, we didn't have a good night last night as he couldn't breathe well and kept coughing, it was horrible to listen to poor thing. I am in two minds as to whether to tell my family not to come at all but it might be a nice distraction in a way.

Well our Tesco order came yesterday and we picked up the turkey, if my family don't come we've got a mountain of food to get through and one little mouth in this house can't eat food yet! I've got two presents left to wrap and DH's cards to write from me and wiggle. I've also got a lovely wicker basket and the stuff to make a Christmas Eve hamper, will just have to see how I get on today. Making stuffing is also on my list but in reality I don't know if many in my family actually like it, if I don't have time or the inclination i'm sure DH and I can do without it on this occasion. We're actually going to make life easier on ourselves and cook the turkey today, I feel a bit more confident after reading that some of you do this and will try to re-heat the meat tomorrow without drying it out.

I've lost my Christmas spirit a little bit with this darn cold and little sleep, I do hope it returns today as I really wanted to get stuck in this year as I barely had one last year where I was so ill. I better go and turn Smooth Xmas on!
  • Oh no CHRISSY I do hope it's something fleeting and nothing more x

Well it's been a busy two weeks and not in a good way. Ct. scans and apps now been told its serious extremely rare and also so young he is 39, we decided to play it down at the minute even to the children when I say children they are from my previous marriage and grown up and left home.i have been with Dh for 12yrs so they are very close. I'm Feeling very emotional I guess its because I'm so tired.
Happy belated birthdays to all that I've missed and it's wonderful news about JJ.well it's not long to go now girlies Christmas is my favourite time of year so despite everything going on in my life , I say Bring It On !!
    Boo x

Boo I'm so sorry. Be kind to yourself, don't put demands or expectations on you or how you're feeling. Just try to enjoy each other xxx
Been getting through the last couple of days cleaning and tidying by listening to Feisty's Christmas playlist on youtube, so just wanted to say thank you :)

A handful more presents to wrap and then I'm done :)

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night ;)

You are very welcome! I've only used it a few times this year and to be honest it hadn't revived my christmas spirit.

Well I am never leaving wrapping to the last minute again! It was horrific, stressful and helped chase the christmas spirit even further away. From now on I'm wrapping as I go! In fact I'm scouring the January sales for ribbon, cards and paper. I also didn't get my cards out :( I've asked for a Christmas planner this year, so let's hope 🎅 brings one ;)

I have half the cleaning left to do and the christmas cake left to decorate, I was contemplating walking into town to pick up some skinny jeans to where tomorrow, but I don't know if I can actually be bothered!

I hope everyone has a loverly Christmas Eve!

Afternoon everyone. Well things are very relaxed here today :O Kids are away out to the cinema and something to eat, Youngest is sleeping away lol so I am now able to go and have a look and see what and where everything is.
I have done my Boots online sale shop at 7am this morning lol. All but one of the things I wanted were available so I'm happy there. Got some Birthday presents in, presents for me, and Christmas Presents for next year! :T
Missed out on the B&Q sale for the small Christmas Jumper decorations that fit the Christmas Elves. They were down to 10p and would have liked one of each colour. We don't live near a store so was banking on the website having them, but ach well.
Have just had a cup of tea and am ow off to start wrapping up the Christmas presents that I haven't gotten round to yet.
Will then bath the children and head off for 6pm Christmas Mass. Home for some hot chocolate, snack and a Christmas DVD then put them to bed.

I hope you all have a lovely peaceful and healthy Christmas xxx

thank you for all the birthday wishes:T

Although I haven't posted I have been reading, hugs to all those who need them (especially baby boo and JJ). Hope all the poorlies feel better soon.

Thanks to everyone on here I have done all my wrapping before Christmas eve and I think that is the first time ever.

OH is going to midnight mass and the boys may go with him as they are short of people to carry the candles. If the boys go I may go with them make it a family occassion.

I am off to make some chocolate truffles and some goats cheese truffles. Then I am done. Cooking is OH's domain and the goose is defrosting in the kitchen.

    Happy Christmas everyone:j
