My thoughts are with JJ at this very worrying time. Thanks OMO for keeping us in the picture.

Hope all the other poorlies are on the mend.

As normal I got the spurge to do stuff as I was coming up to bed. I don't have many books now, after my big clear out last year, but I did keep all my Agatha Christie books and the Encyclopedia Britannica.

I have a semi spiral staircase, actually I have 2, but the first one has a ledge running round part of it at ground level. And all my books are now on this ledge. It looks very arty. :rotfl:
I'm just waiting for Mia to try and beat one of us up the stairs and knock the lot flying.

So I now have an empty ottoman/footstool in the lounge for the throws. :)

This morning I had a mad moment and scrubbed the kitchen and hall floor with bleach. I then steamed them and buffed them. It took over 3 and half hours  and I have blisters where I was holding the scrubbing brush so tight. :( But it does look very nice and white and shiny. :D

I also weeded the path up to the front door. I have decided to get rid of the coir mat outside as it never bl''dy dries even when it is in the sun. So even on a dry day we get wet shoes as we walk in. Which is not want I want on my nice gleaming tiles.

Back to work in the morning. With more house bits planned for the afternoon/evening.
I will bore you with that tomorrow night. :o

BCS has just posted this update on jj

Her brother posted this on Facebook earlier.

"They tried to wake her earlier but she responded badly from where her brain is still exhausted from her four-hour seizure. They're trying again tomorrow and it's looking positive. For a comatose girl, she's quite responsive and moving around a lot to get comfy in her sleep".

Hope we get some good news on JJ's recovery today. Her family must be worried sick. Thanks again OMO and BCS for keeping us updated.

Hopefully all our other poorlies are feeling better and stronger today too.

Wow OMO all that cleaning - if you fancy some more you can always pop round I'm sure I can find you plenty. Bought a hand held steamer on Monday as I am going to have a good spring clean (think its the little bit of sunshine we've had) and up until now its still in the box. :o

    Take care everyone

    Good Morning :D

Not sure what's wrong with me, but I was up until 3.15 and only slept for 3 hours. Was taking Mia for an hour and half walk at 7.30.

I just couldn't sleep. I swapped the tv over from my room and the kitchen. Did 2 wash loads and washed up. I still wasn't that tired by couldn't think of anything else to do. :rotfl:

Am off to work now. See you later . :D

Morning everyone, im finally getting my heating/hot water sorted, am having a new boiler fitted tomorrow :T so seen as all the radiators in the house need to be fitted with new thermostatic valves im being a mad woman and panicking about it all being tidy and clean, but of course i have no guag at all, am exhausted with all the worry of having workmen yesterday and tomorrow, luckily my lovely DD1 is taking tomorrow off so i dont have to deal with it all on my own :)

Hmmph! Yesterday I wore my reindeer jumper (just dark red with white reindeers on the front so not overly christmassy) and got told three times that it isn't Christmas :'(
