If anyone has had bad experiences navigating the debt remedy system, then why not offer their advice, to others, so that those others may negotiate the pitfalls and urban myth that so confused us all at some point or other?

If, eventually, one gets something out, then why not put something back?

Thanks, never thought of that and once I am discharged and all other actions have either been cleared or put in to place, then I'll be writing to my local CAB to see if I can volunteer.
  • What are the guidelines for accepted monthly living expenditure lately, we just been declared bankrupt, and dont know the amounts allowed on other stuff apart from rent and bills etc. All i have found is advice from 4 yrs ago, and cost of living has risen since then, Thanks

SwusieQ, did you not take any advice on BR or did a creditor make you BR?

Pop up the SoA you have and someone will check it for you.

Click the MSE button at the bottom and then copy and paste it into a thread.

And yes do start your own thread as this is an old one.
