One of the agent was talking about year end for school children's when most of the family look to move which is about Jul or Aug?

could be, depends on the type of property and type of tenant. If a family home then what your agent says makes sense. If a student type property then to coincide with the term times also makes sense.
We just put our flat up to let and already have a couple of viewings lined up so people are always looking to move but again is area and property specific. Keep the dialogue with your local agents that will know specifics because there is no general hard and fast rules applicable to all property in all locations.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

It's sub market specific. In my area, two bedroom houses go without being advertised at all times of the year as there is such a demand for them.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -

All 3 of my houses were let over the winter, Dec, Jan and Feb. Just the way it goes I suppose.0
