I don't care about price
Options
EDF fixed until April 14 is soon to end, so like many I'm looking for a new supplier.
What would you recommend based on the following criteria:
1. Customer service
2. Meter readers who ring in advance of visit (our Autistic son requires advance notice)
3. Monthly DD payment plan that doesn't change for random unexplainable reasons
4. Good online management that tracks usage and encourages giving readings
Price really not an issue.
Not EDF or NPower please.

I would look at at someone like SSE, my mother had dementia, I registered her as "vulnerable person" and they rang in advance from up the road, but this was a small country village in Wiltshire, not sure how it would work in a large cityEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

I'd probably look into contacting smaller suppliers like Ebico, Co-op and loco2 with a stated aim of ethics and service & ask what they can do for you0

Haven't been with them for years, based on price, but have you thought about E.On?
Switched an elderly relative over to them last year and they've installed smart meters for him, so don't come to read the meter at all. Was with them once and had good customer service. Their rep(s) frequent here and seem ready to tackle customer issues.
Probably worth giving them a call.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. You could try Co-op Energy. Make sure you are put on their special needs register (whoever you choose).
Edit
Ovo Energy are currently towards the top of the comparison charts as well as having a good customer service record. Only 1-year fixes available to new customers, if that suits your needs. Again, make sure you are put on their special needs register (whoever you choose).Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I wouldn't recommend sse after dealing with them for my nan and the many warnings and threats of being cut off even though she was in credit in the end. You've got to be on the ball with them is all i would say:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Scottish power on an online tariff (they do read meters occasionally but if you raise the special needs flag, that should be more manageable). They leeched money smoothly off me by DD no hassle & I could see all the previous year & a half's readings no fuss.
Had they had a longer fix, I'd've stayed with them.0 -
Sorry it has taken so long to reply, but I wanted to thank everyone who made suggestions.
I'm following them all up now...0
