RATE!! Ryse - Son Of Rome

Hi so ive been playing Ryse on the xbox one and i think it is an amazing game so far.

What do you guys think?

7/10 - Looks fantastic, gameplay becomes a bit samey as it goes on but it's not the button basher that the haters have tried to claim it would be. Only things I would like changed would be more character models so it isn't the same enemies showing up. I'd also change it so that if you don't hit the buttons on time during executions, there is more of a punishment rather than just less points.

I was disappointed with the xboxone, it just didn't feel next gen enough, so it went back to the shop for a refund.

Am sure it will, but I don't have the patience to wait for some decent next gen games to be released and all the MS bugs to be fixed, all I felt was overwhelming disappointment.

It's an average game, to linear, to repetitive...to easy!

The best parts where when you controlled the Romans as a group, its fun to play through once but not amazing.

I rate it a solid 7/10, great graphics but can see me only playing through it once.

I played it at Eurogamer Expo and thought it was pretty decent so made it one of the first games I bought for the Xbox One. The graphics are pretty good and the cut scenes are amazing however after the first two levels the game leaves you with a deja vu feeling and the main story mode is so easy that I blinked and I had finished the game! If you want a game which offers a bit of a challenge and also offers next gen graphics my advise is to get Assassins creed 4 and wait till Ryse goes down in price then pick it up.
