Had to laugh at your GS using your shelf Sylvia!

Not booked for York this year.
We are heading down to Stoke on Sunday and then heading back via Frodsham and Lancaster on the next 2 nights. Had only booked one extra but DD has things on so won't be here so decided to add another night.
Going to Harrogate at end of month though.
When are you going away? (Sorry forgotten where you finally decided on)

Not been to bingo Sylvia. Getting a bit bored with it! On mothers day it was too packed and I didn't want to be there. Been to take DD2 to playscheme then gymnastics, son went to football and I popped to hospital. Son was buzzing when he came in from footie, an ex professional footballer asked son his name and said he was a very talented player!
Lol @ GS claiming all the room in your living room! DD likes to do that, I keep moving toys and they slowly end up back in living room!

Sorry I meant Harrogate not York. We are not going away until May. DH's DS2 is coming to stay at our while we are away as they are down South so they will enjoy it here.

Shame about DS's footie but it will do you good to get away for a couple of days so enjoy it and try and relax a bit.

DH not too happy, sons football tournament over weekend has been reduced to one day now and he only found out off one of parents today! That was the reason we were going away to watch him save travelling every day! Kids still excited to go so we will still be going for that weekend.

Great your DH is getting on with the kitchen wingo. We aren't doing anything ourselves really. Joiner is putting in 2 new bathroom windows (one velux) when he is doing other work so was on the phone with prices earlier. Spoken to plumber too so will be arranging a date soon. Looking forward to having a nice bright, modern ensuite. New shower arrived too - our one is about falling apart and leak coming from somewhere too!
Will be nice to get boiler out of DDs bedroom too as she moans about it.

morning everyone going out this morning for a while so thought I'd get some comping in early. weather seems ok so hopefully it will stay bright while i am out.

Hope it stays bright for you rose. It is bucketing down here.
Going to have a lazy day. No-one has anything on or is working today so will be peaceful until about mid day I would think.
DD really enjoying her little job in the fish and chip restaurant and got waiting at tables last night she has mainly been taking orders at counter. She love chatting (don't know who she takes that off!) so seems to be going down well with the customers. She thinks she might get fat though as chef keeps trying out his food on the staff and they get fed at the end of the shift not to mention the brilliant ice-cream they sell. Just hope she is studying enough for her exams. She has art work to finish too.

Hope you get your crosswords etc done quickly FF.

Hope everyone has a lucky day - expect my luck will be gone for now but really happy with April as it is.

good DD is enjoying her job shiells it gives them a bit of life experience before going in to the real world of work once exams etc are over
