Went out for a walk down to the town and got soaked earlier and now the sun is blazing away!
Got some washing out now anyway.

Must admit I am dreading the teens with my two girls much more than with my two boys!. My parents had two of each and they admit that me and my sister were the worst to 'control' during those years!

Been a weird sort of day here - extremely mild and sunny one minute then black the next - as if it is going to thunder but it never has!!!??? I should be thankful as I have managed to get all my washing dried!

Kids off school for the next fortnight so hoping the weather will stay nice for them so we can get out and about.

son dropped in to see if I wanted to go to Asda as he was going for a cooked chicken for their dinner saved him a trip am now minus 3 cottage pies and soup from the freezer. I dont mind but it takes me forever to get my ceramic dishes back.:)

LOL Ahh bless you! My mam now buys disposable foil containers for when she makes anything for my brothers and other sister as they would never return her ceramic dishes back for ages! I am the only one who remembers to return them within a day or so but I live very close to my parents and see them all the time! My dad hates lending gardening items or dvds to my brothers too as it can be months before they are returned!

Been a funny old day here weather wise as well Bella, rain/shine. Managed to get the one lawn cut again but still need to tackle the other one another day.

Know what you mean Rosemac about the dishes. I NEVER let my DD1 take anything home that I want back. We always joke that when things go in her house they fall into the black hole you never get anything back be it a dish/cardigan/hat etc. I love he though.

It is nice of your DD that she helps her friend Sheils, she seems to have a caring side to her, even though she is a teenager

Glad you had a good time at your Mom's today Katie and managed to order your DVD.

Has you DH got over his flu firefly, I am taking my DH back to Docs tomorrow as it is still on his chest even though he has finished his antibiotics.

We had a lovely chicken dinner and sticky toffee pud. I got some lovely bulbs for planting in the garden and some pansies so am well pleased.

Hope you have all had a good day. I haven't started any comps yet today so am all behind.

He phoned me up one night weeks ago to see if I could make him a big pot of soup and what would he need to bring me no prob said me as long as you bring containers down for it. He then informed me he had a cupboard full of tuperware boxes I know I said most of them mine needless to say they were returned with ingrediants for soup lol
