    Good Morning,

Been raining here but stopped at the moment. Hope it stays off as we had a little circular walk planned beside sea at Morecambe and back by canal before we head home. DH wants to call in at Grange over Sands to buy some of the fancy Higginson pies after that.
Looking forward to breakfast as they are really good here with loads of fresh fruit and pancakes as well as the cooked options.
Have a lovely day and hope you all have some wins to tell me about when I get home. x

Hi all! Still dry here but cloudy and dull!

Hope you had a great time ellemm - lovely to see you back! By FF and Rose are well organised with casseroles and curry prepared for this evening already eek! I am thinking of making a warming chicken stew :)

I know this may sound sill but when I was little I was petrified of road sweepers. My mum said that I used to scream and need carried because I was so afraid of the spinning big brushes attached them and knowing they could also travel along the paths made me worse because I thought they could still 'get me'! I was never (and still am) not keen on car washes so it must be the spinning brushes that make me feel scared! Well today on the way from the school run I saw a road sweeper coming towards me on the path and seriously my heart nearly missed a beat and I felt so scared all of a sudden that I had to cross over the road and go in the newsagents until it was out of sight. It wasn't a huge thing but seeing the big spinning brushes made me feel really nervous! I hadn't seen one for years around here and I hope I don't see one again soon as they are evil looking creatures! :( Just had to share.....weird how one thing can bring back scary memories! fearful-smiley-emoticon.gif

Thought I would name today Happy Tuesday in the Inn.

Its raining here as well firefly, glad you got your zoo sorted out. Your casserole sounds lovely.

Glad to hear you have had a lovely time away Ellemme, when are you going the Greece?

Sheils - have a safe journey home and enjoy your day. I hope the rain keeps off for your walk.

Bella - it is strange how things from childhood stay with you. I am still scared of loft holes as when I was a child other kids used to tell me that peeps were living up in the loft. I would never move into a house where there was one in the bedroom.

Have a nice day everyone, must get on as still behind at the moment and there seems so much other stuff to do as well.

    Stay happy everyone.

    Morning everyone!

Glad to hear you're all doing well...

Bella - big hug... I know exactly what you mean about fears from childhood sticking with you, and then something triggering them is horrid. Bit too early for a glass of rose, so maybe just some sugary tea?! ;)

Ellemme - Glad you had a lovely time in NYC - such an amazing city! :D

Sheils - have a safe journey back home, and hope the rain stays off for your walk... And that hubby manages to lay his hands on some posh pies! ;)

Rose and F**F - Gosh, you two are organised, with dinner prepared already! :D

Sax11 - not up speaking to one of those 0870 ladies again...?! Will you never learn ;) Good to see you've not been PPR'd!

Syl - We have a loft hatch in our bedroom, and I'm always hearing noises (we live in a converted chapel, so lots of creaking wood!) and convinced we have mice or people living in the attic. It's 3 metres from the floor, and we haven't been up there yet as requires navigation with the ladder from downstairs, around light fittings etc (we moved in in July, but not trusted hubby to go up there yet :rotfl: ).

Was up at 4.15am today, as hubby is in Brussels for a conference. He's not back home til around 10pm, so at least I can doze all day without feeling lazy!
