Happy St Patrick's Day to one and all. I am enjoying a day off work. Weather not so great. Rain and cold.
Had to put my laptop back to Factory setup to enable me to get back on the internet. I had 4 laptops here over the last few days. Borrowed, old and new ones.
wingobins glad to hear your brother is back on the mend. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.
Well done to all winners today.
We have no post today as it is a Bank Holiday so here's hoping I will get something nice in the post tomorrow.

Hi all,

Have had a really busy walking day. My feet and legs are aching!
Went to see the brick train sculpture and as no one else was there we sneaked in behind the fence and took some pics next to it. Went to the Beefeater to use my vouchers too and brought rest of the free wine to hotel with me. (DH was driving so couldn't drink more than small glass)
We are at our second hotel now. If anyone has been past "Scotch Corner" you will have seen it. It is the big fancy looking one at the corner which is now a Holiday Inn. It has really fancy looking public areas with fancy lighting etc but our bedroom isn't very big! Can't complain as we got it for a bargain amount of points. They have put free water, orange juice and kitkats in the fridge for us and gave us a free drink too.

Dreams777 glad you are enjoying a day off - wish it was a bank holiday here! Shame about your weather though - typical of a bank holiday in the UK!

Glad you are enjoying yourself Sheils! Enjoy the rest of your wine in your luxurious hotel this evening! Free Kit Kats too - wow usually you get a couple of twin packets of custard creams or bourbons at travel lodges or holiday inns so lucky you!
