Great news FF - my dream prize! Hope you can go somewhere nice with it.

DD is off to start a job in a fish and chip restaurant so hope things go well for her. She hasn't been lucky with jobs - given one and then they closed down and then one she did start got into bother for giving under 16s too many hours and stopped employing them.
She is worried that one girl she will be working with is about the prettiest in the town and she will need to stand next to her. :rotfl:

hope all is well,I am fine today.Been up to my church this morning and then popped to the new Waitrose store we have now which opened this morning,got a free bag which was handy for my goods I brought and went away with a free latte it was enjoyable

Hi Katie, glad you have had a nice day today and managed to get a nice bag and latte.

Just got home from Sisters and have a LWE from ndl Group and Global Radio to say I had won a Vodafone Smart Mini with £20 monthly Vodafone top-up for a year.

Fred has had a WEM to say he had won a bottle of Gordon's Gin and 2 crystal glasses.

Well done on your WTC firefly, how lovely. Hope you manage to go somewhere nice.

Went for a walk along Seaton Carew and then had fish and chips (naughty) they were scrumptious.

DH says to make sure I find out which chippy you use at Seaton Carew as we are going to Hartlepool for our wedding anniversary in July so will be wanting a good fish supper. (He knows how to treat a girl!)

Hope your pasta was good FF - we eat a lot of it. We had chicken stir fry with cashew nuts for dinner.

Katie, sounds like you had another lovely day! We have a small Waitrose in Newcastle so I go in there for the odd treat every so often!
Lomax - well done on your Vodafone Smart Mini win! Fab!!! Seemed you had a nice day too - nothing better than a nice walk followed by fish and chips eaten from newspaper!
FF - I love macaroni cheese, especially my mum's homemade - she slices tomatoes on top before putting it under the grill!
Rosemac - hope you got your meat hamper! Hopefully you can bbq it if the sun stays shining!

Hope everyone has a good evening! Just watching the soaps - will miss Birds of a Feather this evening! Shame the series didn't run for long!

Thanks both - she says the till is really complicated. It is only one or two nights a week which is plenty. She should get plenty of work in the holidays though if she want as it is a busy place. She needs some extra money as she is always wanting to do something and gets bored so easily.
