thanks sax am of to have lunch outside in the courtyard as sun is shining sounds a bit snobby but I love we have a courtyard live in a building that used to be a mansion but is now sub- divided cobbled courtyard was landscaped last year and it is lovely as I have my own door and dont have neighbours in the same close so to speak also got me own area to sit and not be bothered with anyone else ( close means in scotland you go in a door and building has neighbours next to one another like flats)

We have an old fashioned sweet shop just down the road! It is fab - sells all the old retro sweets in jars and lots of pick and mix too. The lady who owns the shop is lovely and if there are any sweets she doesn't have, she will try and order them in for you. She also makes up hampers, gift boxes etc with your chosen sweets!

We also often visit Beamish - the huge open air museum in the North East. It is like walking around a Victorian town and there are old trams there to travel on too. They have an old fashioned sweet shop and you can also watch them make black bullet sweeties! blowing-bubble-gum.gif

Oh man! I thought I would pop a little tack in the wall to hang up a picture but as I don't have a hammer, so I thought I would use the base of a large Heinz Tomato Ketchup plastic bottle as a hammer! .... And guess what - yes - the tack punctured the bottle so I got a squirt of ketchup down my top!

Think I will add 'hammer' to my shopping list! hammer-smiley-emoticon.gif One of those days!

My rolling pin is hard plastic and pink so I didn't want to use it in case I dented it. I love my rolling pin! The Ketchup bottle was a large one and the tack was tiny so I thought it would be ok! shocked-eyes-smiley-emoticon.gif Called my dad and he is going to come around with his hammer!
