lomaxsylvia - you had a siamese cat! WOW! Was he/she vocal? When I lived at home with my parents, our neighbour bred them and we could hear them all the time! I have had a turkish van, who loved to swim in the fish pond and bath and a birman! I am tempted to get persian cat
Might look into it - they can have grumpy faces too!
Sounds like a perfect day for you Tulip - nothing better than a catch up over a cuppa with good friends x:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Hi BlueBella, please call me Sylv like everyone else on here. After having both if you want a cat with real character in my opinion it would be a Siamese, they are fantastic. Yes these do make a noise (loud) the females when they are in season but I took both my male and female to the vets and had it all sorted. Such lovely pets. The Persian was lovely too but nowhere near as much character and hard to keep groomed.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

Thank you Sylv, and you may call me Bella (or even Blue/Blu, as I am often called on here!) I am really tempted to get a cat and Siamese are beautiful! I have a chihuahua and she is a real lap dog and follows me everywhere in my home and I take her everywhere with me - even to the shops as I sneak her in my bag lol! I will have to ponder though as I would hate my chi to get jealous or feel her nose being pushed out!!
She is so small just 2lb so a big cat would probably have her for dinner!

Hi Bella, I think your chihuahua would come off worse in a figtht especially as she is so small and siamese are quite dominant creatures. I don't think I would risk it if I were you. My little Yorkie would be most put out as she is spoiled I am afraid. I think a cat could have her eye out in one swipe of her paw.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

Great prize FF - have had a go myself now! DH really impressed with the idea of reusing cards.
Love the igloo pic Bella. Must admit I always feel the cold when I see everyone going about with so few clothes on in your area.
Feel the same when we go to Bridlington and watch peeps going in the sea on freezing cold days admittedly sometimes with their clothes on.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
