we also had a duck pond
(used to keep chickens & ducks) & they loved nothing
better than jumping in & making muddy patches all round it,
used to love watching them

nothing much doing here today except to go fetch my new glasses,
they rang yesterday to say they were ready :j

Good Morning,

Don't know why I always post pics of being glad its Friday etc as I find Friday the busiest day of the week as there are so many FB & Twitter comps that I enter! On the plus side I think there are usually more WEMs about.

Hope you have a lovely weekend wingo. It is horrible when you have a bad week. I am still trying to put DS2 out of my mind as he will be in Thailand without the proper injections or insurance and he loses his phone every time he goes anywhere. Trust my sister to spot a pic of his farewell night out in Sydney. I would rather not have known as things always go wrong for him.

DH had another WEM for a F&B breakfast voucher! We have both entered every day for the PI Pillows and that and I haven't won either and he has won both twice. Maybe I should get him to enter all the comps instead of me. He thinks it is hilarious as those are the only ones he has done apart from the Banrock Station daily. Going to make sure he does some of the Fri FB & Twitter ones today. By the way Sylvia you need to buy breakfast to get the coffee with the free voucher.

Hope weather is OK for everyone today. Guess what, it has been raining here.

Morning all

Had a pleasant evening with GDs last night and their parents were home by 10.30 so not a late night.

Well done to all the Inn winners :j

Hope your DS gets home soon sheils, put your mind at rest.

Wingo, hope you feel better soon and get your mojo back.

FF, I got a call about specs too yesterday but as only one pair ready will wait till others come in.

Looking forward to going to Ayrshire tomorrow for a couple of days with GD3, bit of child minding as parents busy working

Bet you really miss not having chickens and dogs where you live now firefly. We always had chickens when we were young, Always remember when Dad came home with a big box and when he opened it there were little chick inside. Hope your glasses are OK, did you stick with a similar frame and color or did you change? I always get fed up of mine by the time it comes to change them and try and get something different.

It must be difficult for you Sheils thinking about your DS2 and as you say it would have been better to not have known. Will you be going for a walk today or is it too wet?

Hope you are OK Elle,Indie and anyone I have forgot to mention?

No walk today Sylvia - bucketing down! I have finally got a WEM for myself this week - a Ceracraft Saucepan from a FB comp (JML Direct). I think someone shared the comp with me just before it finished on Wed. Have entered it from my phone I think which I seldom do unless it pops up at me when checking FB. Really pleased anyway as all my pans are pretty old and this looks good.

Come on everyone, lets see how many more wins we can get for January!

Hope you have a nice time in Ayrshire elle and the weather is OK. Think Sunday is supposed to be nice.

Morning,well done on the win sheils.I just seen my name on the sixtyplussurfers post in IWIWIW.I won the phone,great end to the month for me.
I am going food shopping in a minute,it's not raining here yet but will be later.Got washing on so hopefully will get it dried before it does.Hope we have a few more winners in here before the days out.
