Hi
I just wondered is someone could help (or if they have had the same problem) I won a big competition prize about 4 weeks ago, it was supposed to be delivered for Xmas but as yet I have not received the main prize, tried to contact the office but got the "Out of Office until 6th Jan" reply, I know nothing will happen now but does anyone know where do I stand there is an Xbox One, Camera, Gold Earrings and a lot more missing. Has this happened to anyone before do you think I will ever get them

What company is it, was the comp posted on here?

You can contact the IPM if you get no joy hearing back from them in January.

    Hi Minnibix,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. What a pain!

The IPM is the Institute of Promotional Marketing: http://www.theipm.org.uk/the-ipm-team.aspx

Do you mind me asking what the company is? Do you know what the terms and conditions of the prize were, because most have to get it to you within 28 days. You can leave a message on their facebook page if they aren't responding and there may be an alternative email address you can use.

    :)
  • Minnibix if you link to the competition listing on here - can go via the search- then we will be able to help you a bit better

I saw your post in IWIWIW - was it this comp? http://comps.nowmagazine.co.uk/competition/xmas_trimmings.php

I think the mags are known for being a bit slow sometimes, it's a shame you may not get it by christmas but I reckon it'll arrive eventually if you pester them a couple more times :)

28 days usually means working days, which works out at about 6 weeks, I think?

Hi thank you all for your replies it has made me feel a bit better. I am a bit reluctant to name the Magazine as there are still a lot of prizes to come. The terms did say to be with me within 28 days. The comp was Win Christmas and all the trimmings

Well done on your win :j

As Elsbells21 said, they usually send them to you within 28 days. However with the Christmas period, I wouldn't overly worry if it took a few days longer than this, especially if it has only just been 28 days since you were notified of the win. If they told you it would be with you for Christmas it will be annoying not to have the whole prize but don't panic just yet.

I'm expecting a prize from one of the mags and it's 28 days tomorrow from when I received the WEM.
