Over 2,000,000,000 presents delivered:eek::eek:
I hope he has some left for us tweets:)
Reminds me I better get on with finishing the wrapping.
Made a couple of gifts with my grandchildren earlier for my daughter, from them. All toiletries from my stash, in shallow plastic dishes from a pound shop (think they were fruit bowls :rotfl:look better than sounds) pink one and white one, tied up with cellophane and festive ribbon. Not here to take a picture of them, but first effort with cellophane and after faffing about they did look very presentable. Full of bits like Impulse spray, Dove lotions and Dove creme, contents of Sanctury sets (scrub, shower gel, cream etc) No7 boxes of glitchy cream, No 7 sponges, No 7 gloves, No7 bronzer, Body shop festive nail files which I bought in sale last year and few other bits as well.

Listening to Carols from Kings and slowly catching up, loved the reference to remembering those no longer with us celebrating Christmas from another shore"We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

he is working in colchester tonight and the plan was to come here after work at 5am .....sleep as much as possible ....then wake to lunch etc
he just phoned to say that plans had gone wrong as his girlfriend is working christmas day and he therefore needs to go back to where he is living after finishing work try get some sleep while he waits for her to finish work .....they might make it here for 6 or 7 pm.......he says he is not happy about it and has told her so but she is very possessive and is determined to come and make us all change our plans .....I asked why she cant spend christmas day with her family lol

Im on an anxious wait on my DS tonight as well CS. He's stayed on in Liverpool this week to work. He's getting absolutely tons of work and is enjoying the extra cash......he doesn't know when he will be home, just that it will be tonight sometime. Im so sorry that you've had to change your planshopefully it'll all be right
My DS is also bringing one of his house mates to spend the holiday here. The poor mite was told by his parents a few weeks ago that they were spending Christmas overseas and they'd see him at Easter :eek::(:( a bit harsh, I thought on his first term at uni. Im glad DS had the sense to ask if he could come here :A he'd have been on his own otherwise
.........his mother was the one that was sniffy with us when we were carrying cases of glitchy beer into the flat when they first moved in
