I have no idea what my favourite glitch was. I'm still eating Special K, kids have got loads if Impulse and Lynx in stockings, BS stuff made more Christmas presents along with Achica, a lot of shopping done for next year from M&S (the big box on the doorstep impressed the neighbors no end :rotfl::rotfl:), and we are well stocked up on 1p crackers. The tower of Nouvelle fell over the other day :eek:
On the whole I think it was a good year.
The other day my OH called me an extreme shopper, I said I was nowhere near it, then he pointed out what I had got for free or nearly free. Problem is I don't think I will be happy until I can always go out shopping and spend nothing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

They were both gooduns the crackers went on for ages and Boots honoured most of my mattress toppers lol.
Asos have been disappointing they had a couple of cracking glitches coming up to Xmas 2 years running (think it was before Elite started) they used to issue a sorry £10 code but it would work for everyone on anything no minimum spend.
Can't remember if it made it onto to here but last December the fragrance shop did loads of expensive gift sets for £10 instead of £10 off - I had 'The One', DD got 'MArc Jacobs the Dot' and hubby got 'Calvin Klein'. That was a quick off the mark one it only lasted about 15 minutes and I couldn't believe they honoured them.
None of them as good as RnR thoughMyself and my whole family mourn its passing still - the quality of their gifts seriously dropped when it stopped, lol.

Giant boxes of Thorton's for 1p
Such happy memories, even though I only got three. Giggling as we ran out of Ts.
And even though it was a faff for me, the Achica glitch. Lots of presents for family that would have cost a fortune otherwise- almost free.
Agreed, that was so much fun, that and the 1p TCO - standing in the car park with 10 each knowing there was another 28 on the shelf, 1 minute debating whether or not to grab them or leave them, then running back in giggling. Can't wait for some more of those moments.
I think the biscuit glitch has been one of my favourites this year.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
I'm getting a taste for these snowballs wish I'd bought more, DD wanted to try some but I said no - not sure if I should have let her she's 13 in a couple of weeks I suppose I don't want alcohol being this big bad thing.
When I was a kid we had neighbours who would not have alcohol in the house. One of their sons became an alcoholic at the age of 14. We let the kids have small amounts of alcohol when they were teenagers so that it did not become a forbidden fruit, they have not turned into binge drinkers and on!y get drunk occasionally. Don't forget that it is normal for kids to have wine on the continent. You have to make the decision that is right for you and yours though. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
My a Tesco (Salford) not reducing turkeys beyond 50% - going to food bank after that.0

Whoops didn't realise the time. I have presents to drop off, might pop into to Ts too, they all seem to close at 10pm round here'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0
