The pillow case on the pillow is coming off (because he just pulled it off as a stall tactic)

Too many stuffed animals in the bed
Not enough stuff animals in the bed
He’s afraid daddy will come home before he falls asleep.
He’s afraid morning will come before he falls asleep.
Checking to make sure you will come kiss him after he falls asleep.
You forgot to kiss him after he fell asleep.
He has to show you his new bruise/scratch/scrape.
Blanket isn’t tired (the favourite blanket which apparently has feelings)

A few years ago I was in a similar-ish situation to FloFlo, regarding possible employment changes, so one evening in the pub I asked some friends for advice. We discussed all the pros and cons, ummed and aahed about every little detail, should I make the decision or not, until one friend summed up his considered opinion on the underlying philosophical problem with:
