My wifi is back on :j

My tv went too, and that was the last straw so I went out and bought a load of new running kit :)

Shame the weather is too rubbish to go out running

Scamps, didn't want to read and run, and wish you and the elite well for 2014 and the future.

Can I ask if you have telephone banking? If so they may be able to help and advise you, especially if you have direct debits due. If you can cancel any non essential ones not in your name, and even utility ones such as gas and electric which I would then pay manually after a phone call to update the supplier and change of names if required.

You may even be able to do some of this on line.

Check your household insurance policy to see if you have legal cover and if so if it will be able to assist you or even give you advice as to which way to proceed.

Also thanks to each and everyone of you who have posted glitches, I've not partaken in all, even missed a few and often thought no chance and promptly kicked myself when pictures are posted.

Finally TinyShoes has your daughter developed a taste for polo mints and orange juice? rather than a craving for castor oil. ;)

I want to take a moment to thank the Elite for being there for me through what has been a difficult year for me. The support has at times totally overwhelmed me, you are such an amazing bunch of people. I can honestly say I don't think I would have made it to 2014 without all the laughs on the way, there are a few of you who continue to keep me smiling thought the difficult times and you know who you are. :A:A:A

I raise a glass to my mum and to all those with absent family and friends and of course to our friend Madmuppet.

    Love you all Elite xxx

Morning all. Happy New Year :j
My resolution is to try to post more....I am always around and lurking but never seem to have anything to say....:(
I'm going to try much harder this year.
Here's hoping for a healthy, wealthy and peaceful 2014....filled full of glitches for all.

Can't agree more with the 2 posts quoted above. I also don't get time to post often and i also struggle to keep up.
However when i do read and post on here, the ethos of the ELITE is always there.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

    :(:(:(
Sorry to read you post quoted below.
There has been some great advice posted so far, and as other elite members have said were here for you Scamps.
An awful thing to happen especially at this time of year.

No, you both read it right!! Been going on for a while. Found out yesterday that she's been bidding on house's and one has come up (she has to call about it on the 5th) which means I'll be homeless!!! She went to see her parents last night (I don't get on with them!) and she came home at 9am this morning. She's packed a bag and gone back to her parents house. Just checked and our bank account has been cleared. Sorry if this is bringing the thread down but I need somewhere to take my mind off things. I've got a stinking hangover, so it's just as well she's taken my car.
Sorry peeps, I'll see you in a bit.

Plenty of these in my local. Scanning the barcode on MSL shows
A £1 v T £1.30 (or 2 for £2) so buying in even numbers might give an APG of 10p per pack. :rotfl:. However, MSM is showing Sada as N/A.

I'll let you know in 3 hours :)

WARNING: DON'T include the 20p Paxo in a AvT shop. It cost me dear

    It compares as it should 20p v £1 :(

    Afternoon peeps. :)

Thankyou all for your advice. RE- bank. no overdraft on it, yes it's joint as was savings account. Both cleared and she's put it all into a new account of her own. :( £15000 I'm not going to see again!!

I'm surprised we lasted this long, 11 yrs+. When i first met her she'd not long got divorced from a millionaire buildings architect, (for those in Bristol, Aztec West hotel is one of his), she left with nothing. Her mother never approved of me and has always put me down to my wife, she's very very materialistic. her parents are rich and have never helped us out in any way, but has always tried to bribe my wife with a house of her own and anything she needs, added to this, the pressure from her 18 yr old son who can only see £ signs in his head from them. Well, she finally cracked. It's her parents who have been bidding on a house for her and they've promised her everything as long as she leaves me!! They even threatened to cut her out of their will if she didn't!!!!!

That said, I started this relationship with nothing, and It'll end with me having nothing and I'm not that bothered to be honest. Yes it's hurting, but I know that with time It'll get easier, I'm not daft!!!

With the support from friends and my virtual family (you lot) I'll get by. It's just comforting to know that if and when I'm down, I can come on here for a chat and a pick me up.

Now wher did I leave my drink, Ah, here it is. Cheers peeps. Happy New Year.

    You certainly can scamps xx
