  • Morning all :hello:

Been out to Lidl and secured a half price turkey crown, only OH and I will be eating it so didn't need a big one, paid £5.60 :money: More than happy with that :)

Even managed to get to Morries as well! Shelves were pretty bare though, no eggs, no milk  But managed to get what we were needing so not too bad.

That's me in now until whoopsie time :D OH better be home early or I'll be shoving him on the first available bus ;) :rotfl:

Right better go do some tidying I suppose

Morning all :) Happy Christmas Eve :santa2:

Waiting for DS1 to get back from the States. His return flight to the UK from Paris has been cancelled, and the next flight to the UK is looking very suspicious too, no update for 30minutes, so wondering if that's been cancelled too :(

    No news from him :(

Sometimes looking on flightstats isn't very reassuring :(

Had text, couldn't land in Paris, been diverted, landed at Toulouse for refuelling and being diverted back again to Paris. Turbulance has been horrific.

Feel so helpless and know he's really had enough.

Oh dear. It is hard to believe when I am sitting here with sunshine out the window.
My dd is flying luton - nice - birmingham - nice - luton. She left me a text at 7am saying serious delays and I know yesterday was a bumpy one.
French air traffic are meant to be striking too:eek:

I have her final flight no so will check later. Be a nightmare to have a night stop tonight with it being the first one dgd will be old enough to enjoy.
Dd did say as long as she is home by 6am she will be happy.
Never had an unscheduled night stop with this airline and been flying with them 8 years so fingers crossed both your ds and my dd arrive home safely.

Please make sure it's safe scamps and nothing else will fall. x

Why is that the supermarkets are closed for one day and some people act like we are going into a nuclear shelter by buying enough provisions for many weeks ...

So sorry about this midwinter. Don't know quite what to say except try to keep busy and hopefully things will improve for you both soon. Thinking of you xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.
