i had to skirt around a fence panel on the pavement the other day. the weather really seems to have been quite angry of late.
sorry - dont know about getting one in your car but would think it might be difficult to say the least.0 -
I have told hubby he has to follow me round the kitchen this year to stop me eating the pigs in blankets, turkey skin, crackling and any crispy bits off the roast taters before my dinner. By the time I sit down to eat I'm usually stuffed.:o:o
That's part of the fun tho enjoying yourself while cooking.0 -

I worked as a waitress in the US briefly and in the restaurant I worked in everyone bar waitresses/waiters received at least the minimum wage. I received $2.16/hr and the rest were made up of tips (worked out well though as a Brit I was exempt from paying medicare and got my tax back at the end of the year, plus a cheeky accent used to amuse them so for a 6 hour shift I would get about $70 in tips, plus wages
). Anything paid on card I also got. Maybe I had nice managers!
In America we got chatting with a waitress, her wages were like your very little but the rest in tips. She said that on average she made the same as a teacher! It was a tourist area so always busy.:o:o:o
