Hey nana2b has she had another sweep or is she going for a January baby

Was just about to give you all an update. ;)

Few twinges during the night :T but has all stopped this morning.

Midwife visiting tomorrow for 2nd sweep and to discuss 3rd jan induction as DD1 has decided would rather wait the full 42 weeks which will be 5th, before going ahead with being induced.

Has anyone used the jus-rol to top a steak pie? It seems thinner than I would usually roll a pastry to top the pie, so I was thinking of placing one on top of another (would this work?) to give a thicker pastry top.
The pastry flakes up a heck of a lot, more than you might think; I used it to top a veg pie over Xmas, even rolled it out a bit thinnner too - worked fine for me.
Don't know about meat pies though - I'm not a carnivore:)

UPDATED with pic of veg pie, to give an idea of pastry thickness (this was one sheet for the base, and one for the top)

Hey guys, bit of a lurker on here of late as just can't keep up with all the chat at times but I was just wondering wether anyone knew if the A v T S&G is still working? I did have a nice little stash but OH likes it and keeps nicking it and now I'm on my last can.

    Tia x
    Hi kerri.

Download an app called mySuperlist to your smartphone or tablet. It is linked with mysupermarket.co.uk.

Once downloaded, you can search on the app for S&G and it will let you know what price they are comparing to and where. If you look now, the Responsive and the Sensitive are both still comparing to T's price of 20p each.

You can also use the app to scan barcodes when you are in A too.;)
