A quick hello to everyone. Christmas brought a lovely surprise. My eldest got us a box of M&S biscuits. Not just any biscuits. Hdden inside was a posh piece of paper...he had changed his name by deed pole all by himself. We were both over the moon.
You must be so proud, bet it brought tears to your eyes.:j0 -

I really feel for those f you with offspring in far flung places.
One of my mine lives 103 miles away and the other 83 - I've got findfriend. Ap on the iPad so when I miss them I can see if they where they are. My youngest flew the nest last May so 2014 is the first full year - its not even as if I can just jump on the train and go up for the day to see them as their work and social lives are very complicated - the eldest is going to be doing half weeks in London next year to make things even more complicated.
Eldest son has been away now for 3 months, due back in the UK sometime in April, won't even have a date to write on the calendar for a long while yet.
So this coming year we just have to keep very very busy and give OH lots of love - he misses them as well but blokes can't go out in the kitchen for a good blubber when it gets hard.
I also make sure I am in touch with them every day even if its just to send them an email with a joke in or a cat photo :T
Sadly DS1 left the UK when he finished Uni, he has lived in four country but only managed to return to UK once! Which we paid for!
We saved and went to see him, it was the only way we would see him. Now he is encouraging the others to live in other countries.... I may fall out with him soon! I want them to live their live, but the sad part of me wants them to meet a nice girl, buy a house and have grandchildren for me to spoil!100 -
A little glitch on BS.
Code on vouchercodes for £20 off £40.
Free delivery also over £20 spend.
Should only work on full price items.
Works on reduced gift sets and reduced bath & body and sale soaps.
Does not work on ordinary sale items.
Doesn't seem to work if you have a lyb attached to your account so you may need to have/open another account or remove your card number..
Don't forget TCB/Quidco!
Have fun!Smileand hopefully the world will smile back
