Good morning everybody I hope you are well, here's to a lovely relaxing Sunday.

Thank you to David and davemorton for helping realise how foolish I was trying to hold down looking after a home and working at the same time. No wonder I am so stressed, I will hand in my notice immediately. You two are truly exceptional creatures with your insight.:rotfl:

My granddad used to recite this to me when I was little, changing Albert's name to mine; and my Dad recited it to his grandson when he was little, and even now at aged eighteen he can remember it word for word ... it's his party piece:)

Not quite sure of the maths, but the ones that seem to work best are the ones that discount by more than 50% initially, and then have a further 10% wys £45 on electrical beauty

Ie this list (BTHP and further 10% off) may help, the bigger reduction the better, but most stuff seems to discount somewhere along the line

popped to mr s this afternoon and picked up lint bears for 90p each and some jars of mince meat for 30p a jar best before date on the jars was 2015 :)

    I need some help please
just looked on club card site to see how my points are doing and to see if my vouchers are being posted to another address as I have had any for months now I did email them and they told me that I some have some coming to me in the post but I haven't had any :( and....it looks like someone have used my points to double up in store :(.......but how can I prove it wasn't me?
    what can I do?

Tesco are bound to have CCTV footage of whoever went through the till with your vouchers. I'm sure it happened to somebody else on this thread recently too so perhaps they can advise you. Tesco should also be able to see if your account was hacked or if your vouchers have just been sent to a wrong address from their own records. I hope you get it sorted :(

we dont have credit cards either definatly our house has always been only get it if you can afford it...
my dd1 took this to far and thought she could not have a house unless she could afford it now after hard work and scrimping at both 23 her and her partner own their house with no mortgage:eek:

My ds2 is a big saver but generous too. He is in the middle of buying a renovation project for cash with his dad and step brother. Once done it will be a luxury bungalow with river frontage and as paying cash for everything once sold he will have enough to buy first home for cash so will his step brother. Until then though they will be living with his dad and step mum a while longer.

Next year I will continue to do as I do now. I like to participate in glitches but only buy very small amounts unless free and can be used or gifted. I will do the present stash as long as items very cheap as this year was enough for me, mum and dd gifting needs.
I have cupboard understairs and drawer under spare bed for stashes. I don't use garage and still do not feel need for extra freezer. I rarely whoopsie shop unless flowers as only me to feed.

Mum is revamping my spread sheet as we speak as I broke it in july but I will continue to use. Also new one for fuel and mileage.

This year is do the garden year. But everything in pots incase I need to move. Only bathroom left to redecorate. No mortgage as I rent but have share in property that I hope I will not get for many years yet. This will buy me my forever home.

I will have a look at frugal thread as will find interesting.

I do enter alot of competitions so would hope to add to gift stash that way this year.

Still looking for pushchair and would like my own car seat to make life easier with dgd.

I will not be buying cheap footwear or heels this year. I have summer footwear sorted and must mourn the loss of being able to wear heels. the pairs I have will last me a long time.

Aim this year is to free up cash so I can travel more both here and abroad.

I get just as much join from others stash stories and pictures as I do from my own.
