  • Good morning

Hope all are well. Beautiful sunny day here.

Now I have something to admit....
my name is Pauline and I am addicted to glitches

I have come to this conclusion when I had a sort out over the last few days. I have enough shampoos and conditioners to last for five years, body lotions the same. Tins everywhere and freezers so full that it is a game of major tetris each time we need anything out.

So, my New Year Resolution is to reduce the stockpiles.

Each time I use something from the stash, I will put away £1 for anything out of the freezer and 50p for store cupboard items. So when the stash is at a more manageable level, I can invest again!

The next month is determinedly menu planning using ingredients that I have in the house already.

    Anyone care to join me?

No Pauline - I am afraid I won't join you. I am an addict you see and the thought of not chasing a stockpile of washing powder would make me ill:D:D

Morning streetlights :) I joined you in a great whoopsie shop last night! £74.25 of food, all very heavily reduced, bill came to £3.75, used 3 PP's (2 were wombled!) and a luncheon voucher and I had 1p to pay! My DS's were with me, just as well, as couldn't have carried that amount back on my own!
Have guests coming for dinner tonight, and they'll be having crab & prawn verinnes, roasted spiced salmon, vegetables, and then finishing with a black forest tree cake. Thanks T's! :D
Then played freezer tetris and have managed to store everything else. Must be my best whoopsie shop of the year!

Always leave mine up to 5th January, enjoy Christmas for as long as I can!

Watched a great drama with my DS's last night, well worth watching if you ever get the chance, Coma.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Yes it was really good, I couldn't work out if it was meant to be a film or a mini-series all bundled together or what it was but it was good!
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Our freezers are full to bursting following a few bumper days of whoopsies - I managed to get a turkey crown in for Easter at £3 :).

Even I drew a line with the stack of cheese and bacon rolls in A for 15p - think pigs in blankets but with cheese instead of sausage. Cheese? And bacon? No sausage? Eeeeeewwwwwww!
