Yeah, just decided to buy it anyway as I can return to tesco if needed. It was £251, seemed like a good price, so did not want to leave it on the shelf. I will just have to see if I can get used to windows 8 and if it is fast enough.

DD doesn't understand PJ day but as it's now dark have managed to convince her to put PJ's on, just need to keep her out of bed :rofl:

That does seem like a good price for those.

Dont get much new for £250 so you have not been robbed at all.

No doubt it will be quicker than your old one and windows 8 I have avoided , our laptop has it but I use that only to sort something out on it. Not keen myself but have never given it a chance the wife thinks its fine once she got it how she wanted it.

You can always download classic shell I think its called and then it has the same start up screen as windows 7 :cool:

Hmmmm, don't think I like it, it keeps freezing up for a second or two when I only have 1webpage open. Probably because of all the carp they seamed to have put on it.

Lol, I don't think it is faster. To be fair, the other one was twice the price, and can only be 2 years old tops. Why all the apps, are they mad?
