Just heard on radio people were queing from 1 AM at Milton Keynes Next for sale:eek::eek:........booger that:rotfl::rotfl:

I went to the retail park by Milton Keynes stadium (mainly for the big primark!). Got there at 9.30 and it was really quiet. There is a next there, also very quiet. By the time I went into Asda at around 11.30 I was amazed how quiet it was in there as well.

Happy Boxing Day to all The Elite!

I've had a great week...my DH got the job he was after and starts on 6th January - so great start to the New Year for us.

I also won one of the Come Round competitions for the Philips Iron...then a few days ago I won a Pandora bracelet and a couple of charms on the Facebook Pandora page...they say good things come in threes and it certainly did!!!

All my xmas baskets I made up with various glitchy body creams, impulses, s & g, etc all went down so well with my female relatives...this has been the 2nd year for making glitchy baskets I think they will expect the same in 2014 (so fingers crossed for plenty more glitches).

My DH showed me that Premier Inn have released their sale rooms for 03.03.13 - 01.06.13. So we have just booked a couple of rooms for a break in March and April. I haven't read back fully...so in case you don't know about it, here is the link:

    http://www.premierinn.com/en/offers.action

Wonderful news about dh job he must be thrilled, and well done on the competition wins advents were very unkind to me this year.

Premier inns must be struggling as I managed to get £29 rooms for the whole of my xmas break. Usually prices rocket for xmas eve, day and boxing this is first year they have had these on offer. Premier inn was very quiet and empty this year. Was heaving and noisey last xmas. Personally I think their room deals are fantastic value for money as sleep 4 at a push (2 adults and 2 kids no problem.
Just random sometimes which locations have the rooms on offer.
Hope to use them to visit Eden project with dad next year.

Got a few. I wouldn't have gone into the mk centre, but this retail park was perfect as not too many shops, and next door to the huge Asda and ikea (which was rubbish). I was going to go on to matalan but couldn't be bothered and came home!
