What breaks should I have?

Hiya,
I have been put on some night shifts this weekend, and I'm not happy about the set up really but I'll lose my job if I say anything.
Basically I am working 9pm - 7am on Fri night then from 12pm - 1pm on Sat then from 9pm - 9.30pm then 10pm - 7pm on Sat night
The two night shifts are *begrudgingly* fine, but its that hour in the middle of the day on Saturday. I don't get any breaks on the night shifts either.
I thought there was meant to be a break between nightshifts?
I might be wrong of course. I signed out of the 48hr limit but I only have 28hrs this week.

What industry do you work in? The break between shifts doesn't neccessarily apply, depending on the setting, as they look at compensatory rest spread over a longer period of time instead. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
The rest breaks etc don't apply to residential, so as a shift worker I'm guessing that the same applied to you. Not illegal just not good practice.
Google compensatory rest - cant post links as I'm on the iPhone. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Are there any colleagues you could ask to do the Saturday hour for you, or could you swap something else with someone to give you a chance of more sleep in between. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Isn't Fri 21:00 to Sat 07:00 regarded as your Sat shift?Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0
