Thank you to the people who thanked me - I feel all warm and glowy now - have my first thanks yous
Ohh..I'm here to stay
(just as well as my BR will still take a while lol).
And cheers Where - nice to know they are useful - read briefly about them, and would have been there like a shot had I not found this place, now I'm feeling all a bit braver about it all, but will probably still ask them to help out, no one else to hold my hand on the day unfortunately
Lisa - remember you don't have to let Bailiffs in unless they have a warrant, which will take ages to arrange, and if you're talking to your creditors it shouldn't get that far (there are plenty of stalling tactics if you're going BR and my experience is I haven't had a bailiff round when debts weren't paid for a good few months(ie, not that they came round after a few months, but whilst the situation was going on which was for a few months), but talking to them on the phone,) so you should be ok pre-BR, and as I understand it, after BR you shouldn't get them unless you're really really naughty and have a huge income, get an IPO and don't pay it repeatedly, as your OR writes to them all and tells them you can't and *must not* pay them - you're not allowed to! - under the terms of your BR.
I just don't get credit companies now a days - with BRs on the increase, and more and more credit being thrown at people, putting the APR up when you're already not in a great position is sort of contributing to it a tad methinks, leaving them with nothing instead of the odd thousand they would have gotten in interest. Greedy bugg*rs! :mad:Do not feed the trolls please.0
