I am cooking for britain here and im only half way through a packet of puff pastry!
Out of half a pack ive cooked 2 tomato and cheese tartlets, 2 bacon and cheese puff rolls and half a dozen mince pies.
Im planning to use the rest to make some chicken and ham pies but im flagging seriously especially as I havent eaten and all this food is making me hungry.
can I prepare the pastry cases tonight, store in the fridge and cook the rest in the morning or shall I stay here all night?:rolleyes:
Will puff pastry cherry pies work or do I need shortcrust for that, im a bit useless at this

the patry will be fine wrapped up in the fridge...but it will roll out better if left out of the fridge for 1/2hr before using
I dont see why cherry pies wouldnt work..you use puff pastr to make apple turnovers....so i would use it
