** Sorry just realised i posted this on the wrong board - should have been Motoring **

With Christmas upon us I would like to share a personal experience about drink driving. The police are extra vigilant at this time of year. Two days ago I was out celebrating with friends. I had 3 or 4 pints, about 6 whiskeys and a few shots. Although I was pretty jolly I had enough sense to know that I was over the limit.

That's when I did something I'd never done before - I took a taxi home. Just as well because on the way home the police had set up a road block, but since it was a taxi they waved it past. I got home safely without incident.

This was a real surprise as I had never driven a taxi before. I don't know where I got it and now that it's in my garage I don't know what to do with it.

Any suggestions?

Best thing to do is to fill up on a couple more pints, a whisky or two, some shots and see if the damn thing disappears!
