Booking a flight with Aer Lingus

I'm trying to book a flight from Belfast to Spain in July for my family, five adults and a 2yo, but am unable to get additional bags booked as it seems to only allow one each,6,I only want 2 or 3. Any help appreciated.

Back in June I booked some flight with Are Lingus from Gatwick to Belfast. I booked without luggage and then a week or so before I added just one bag, there were two of us travelling.

Maybe the way to go is to make the booking without luggage and then add the bags later. They will send you emails from now until you travel asking you if you want to add extras like bags and seats.

Thanks for that Alex, I'll try that and hope they wont charge extra!

I was able to book 1 bag when 2 of us were travelling with no issues. I think I added the bags, then removed one later in the process
