Spex4less - buying glasses spectacles on line?

Judging by a search on-line, most stores only guarantee for a couple of years and it seems that, unless they are treated with kid gloves and cleaned correctly all of the time, most expect deterioration within a few years.

I agree, but I have a ten year old pair purchased from a high street optician that have not deteriorated. That seems to suggest the Spex4less lenses are of inferior quality.

... or maybe that, 10 years ago, things were made to last? Whereas, now ... people are out for profit
