How long to cook stuffing outside a turkey?

My wonderful dad has made some sausage meat stuffing for me and I can't for the life of me remember how long i cooked it last Christmas for, so I thought I would ask a few of you oldstylers your opinion.
The sausage meat stuffing was made in advance so it is cold and not pre-cooked. It weighs 1.2kg (2 1/2 lbs in old money)....and I don't put it in the turkey I cook it separately.
I think Gas 6 for an hour covered in foil but removing foil for last 20 mins....what do you think?
