2nd income do i pay NI on it

i am a semi pro footballer and recieved a signing on fee of £1500 as far as i know i pay 22% tax on it but do i also need to pay national insurance ? this money is a second income

Evening Gasboardonboard,

I currently have 3 jobs and pay tax on all three but only pay NI on my main job. I would imagine this is the same for everyone.

if you pay over the threshold you pay ni on each employment unless you have deferment
