Win a two night break at the Maynard Hotel with a champagne dinner

The Maynard Hotel Are you in need of some TLC? Fancy a weekend away with your loved one in the beautiful Peak District? Well this week we have got the perfect solution.
Because we have teamed up with newly refurbished Maynard Hotel to offer one of our readers the ultimate in weekend breaks.
By entering our simple competition, you could be arriving for a two night stay at the impressive country mansion which also boasts an AA rosette restaurant as well as some of the finest views in the Peak District.

Chef Marcus JeffordYou will stay in one of the hotel's 10 beautiful bedrooms overlooking the Hope Valley and on your first night you will be treated to a three-course dinner with champagne in the sumptuous restaurant. The weekend is worth £500.
Paul Downing has made the new-look Maynard in Derbyshire’s Peak District an overnight success. With the help of ex-Conran chef Marcus Jefford and his creative contemporary menus, The Maynard won an AA rosette for the quality of its food, only weeks after re-opening after a £150,000 refurbishment. The bar area was also refurbished to a high contemporary standard.
The Maynard is the perfect base to explore the Peak National Park including the Derbyshire villages and towns of Eyam, Ashford-in-the-Water, Bakewell and the Tissington Trail.
If you are a lover of the outdoors you will be in heaven; several good Peak District walks are possible from The Maynard’s front door – if you like walking it’s possible to survive without your car for the whole duration of your stay. If on the other hand, you want a change and fancy a bit of retail therapy, the famous Meadowhall Shopping Centre is only a few miles away by train or car.

The beautiful grounds The hotel offers just ten comfortable en suite bedrooms, all with remote controlled TV, direct dial phone, trouser press and tea & coffee making facilities. Two of the rooms also feature adjoining private lounges with video and CD players.
So if you fancy staying at the Maynard on us, all you have to do is answer this simple question:
