New Games console - what's it to be?

OK peeps, I am in the market for a new games console for my OH who has, gasp, never used one before. He is unlikely to play much online so thinking of the Nintendo but not fixated on that. Could also be playstation or xbox. Suggestions on deals, features, prices, availability?

Too late now I know.... But....
it's pretty obvious that it's not something he's even remotely interested in if he's never had one.... Better choice to either get him something else, or perhaps vouchers, then he can choose what he wants.
That way would also save any unhappiness on your part if you do go ahead with the console & then he ends up not using it.
Of course that may all be a moot point if he initially asked for one of you anyway.
I'm also amazed that there is a man who isn't obsessed with consoles! :eek:Please be nice to all moneysavers!

if he is unlikely to play online then pointless getting one. Seeing as he never bothered with one before, what are the chances of him using one now.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
