Iceland had 1 litre bottles of Vodka - think the name was Vodkat at £5 per bottle  They had a 'gin' equivilent a few weeks ago which I tried and it was ok.

Surely the duty on a litre of vodka is more than £5.00 ?
Either Iceland are making a (hefty) loss or it's weak enough to not be classified as a spirit.....0 -
Vodkat is only 22% ABV and it has a RRP of £4.99 for a 70cl bottle or £6.99 for 1 litre.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0

Unfortunately these are not vodka they are some form of imperial spirit ABV is about 20% if i remember rightly.. the bottles do look distubingly like vodka bottles though and the word 'vodka' is spelt differently in a cheekily chosen Russian font.
..still they had me exited for a few seconds though!:o
Edit: Withabix beat me to it! LOL:cool: :A0 -
